Art Club hosted our Spring Exhibition Opening this past Tuesday. Student artists and community members gathered together to admire the showcase while enjoying fancy snacks. The show will be up until the end of April on the 2nd floor of Canaday so go check it out!

It’s Mural Arts Month! You should all celebrate by visiting Bryn Mawr’s Pioneering Women mural on the side of Health Center #4, 4400 Haverford Ave., completed just two years ago. More info here.

Thanks to everyone who came to the studio opening last week! We had a lot of fun, and we hope you did too!

In other news, our wonderful co-president, Meredith, ordered a set of lockers for the studio, and they’ve finally arrived. Once facilities moves them out of Ward basement, you’ll be able to sign them out and keep all of your projects safe in them.

Conversations: Selected Works from the Jacqueline Koldin Levine ‘46 and Howard Levine Collection will be on display until October 14, and open daily from 11 am to 4:30 pm. Be sure to stop by!

If you get a chance to go into Philly between now and December, definitely check out Jeremy Deller’s exhibition, Joy in People, at the Institute of Contemporary Art on Penn’s campus. The website says it will be a combination of installations, photographs, videos, posters, banners, performance works, and sound pieces that engage with Deller’s fascination with various forms of sub and folk culture. The artist is giving a talk tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6:30 pm.
